Our Story
In 1960 Selah, WA was a growing community. 30 of our original 52 charter members broke from out mother church of Bethlehem Lutheran LCMS in Yakima to start meeting in Selah. For a  number of years, worship took place in the Selah Theater which is now The Civic Center.  During  1960 the NW District Missouri Synod conducted a survey for church acceptance into the Synod. October 29, 1961 Peace Lutheran Church LCMS was established.
Peace Lutheran Church was established October 29, 1961, with approximately 52 charter members. Peace currently has 192 communicant members.
In 1995 an Educational Wing was added onto Peace Lutheran. This Ed Unit houses seven classrooms and a nursery.
