Located at 204 S. Naches Ave. in Yakima, WA, Rod’s House is a drop-in resource center for homeless youth. The center provides a variety of basic resources, along with educational support and help finding employment.
Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming facility free from drugs, violence and gang activity, and the assistance necessary for youth to transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Rod’s house offers food, clothing, shower and laundry facilities, as well as mentoring, tutoring and computer access. The staff also assists clients with access to health care, and referrals to other agencies and organizations which provide services outside of what Rod’s House is able to offer.
Mission: Empowering youth who are homeless to reach their full potential
Vision: Connect our youth to community though education, employment, and social services
